Brief Introduction about Bhivgad / Bheemgad:-
Height: 803 ft/ 245 meter
Grade: Simple
Time: ~ Maximum 45 min from Vadap, Base Village
Location: Karjat Region
There isn’t much known about this small fort. A small top, couple of water cisterns, a remnant is all that this fort offers us at the top. However, easy walk and small height, nice view of ranges around makes this a nice, little trek.
Journey Details:-
Catch the local train for Karjat on Saturday 10th September 2011 morning.

Byculla: 05:49
Dadar: 05:58

Ghatkopar: 06:15

Dombivali: 06:57
Kalyan: 07:07
Karjat: 08:06
Pls do keep a buffer time of 5 mins due to changes in time table
We will meet @ Karjat station … Just Check that if u miss the train … u miss the trek with us…

Move 2 small waterfall nearby for Fun , masti
16:00 Hrs: @ Base
16:45 Hrs: @ Karjat
We will be in Mumbai around 19:30 hrs (that’s – subjective)
The Estimated expenditure is abt Rs. 150/-
This includes Karjat 2 Karjat rick fare, Morning snacks – Tea

Things To Carry:-
Pls Do carry LUNCH for Saturday (a must)
A Water Bottle (~2.5 Ltrs) (a must)
Camera, Cell Phone, Binoculars (Optional)
Pls avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments
Some ready to eat food.
Plum cakes, biscuits etc.
Good trekking shoes,
Personal basic medical kit (Containing an antiseptic, few bandages, personal medications if any, Antibiotics for stomach infection)
A haversack to put all these things
