Fireflies: Fireflies or lightning bugs make light within their bodies. This process is called bioluminescence and is shared by many other organisms, mostly sea-living or marine organisms. Fireflies light up to attract a mate. To do this, the firefliescontain specialized cells in their abdomen that make light.

Purushwadi village is the home to the famous to FIREFLIES during Summers. This May, witness a million fireflies emitting their lights and camping with you.

Day 1: Saturday:- Meet at 10:00 Hrs (Sharp) at Borivali National Park

We will b starting from Borivali by Private AC Vehicle
Andheri : 10:45 Hrs
Bandra : 11:00 Hrs
Sion Circle : 11:15 Hrs
3 Hath Naka, Thane : 11:55 Hrs
Lunch en-route @ Igatpuri (On your own)
17:00 Hrs: @ Purushwadi
Evening Tea & Snacks , Set up the tents
post sun set, Enjoy Fireflies in the Jungle
21:00 Hrs: Dinner Time
Post Dinner – Night Walk for Fireflies if interested

Day 2: Sunday

Breakfast – Tea in village .

We would be getting back to Borivali at approx 14:00 Hrs (That’s Subjective)

Good trekking shoes preferably ACTION,
Personal basic medical kit (Containing an antiseptic, few bandages,
personal medications if any, Antibiotics for stomach infection)
A haversack to put all these things
