We @ Shikhar Vedh has arranged an offbeat tour to Sindhudurg where we would be visiting the Petroglyphs (drawings carved into a rock 6000 years before) which had been made atop hills on plateaus.
Kudopi & Barsu platue has carvings of various figures of man, fish, bullock.
Chitrakathi- It is a unique style of Painting, practised in Pinguli, a small village near Kudal dating back to the 17th century. Painting is done using paper, brush and hand-made colours and in the sequence, based on the story of Mahabharata or Ramayana. The collections of pictures are used to narrate the whole story. The sutradhar (narrator) unfolds the tale in the form of songs supported by the music of the vina, the taal and the huduk.

The cost for Tour is about Rs. 7500 / - per head

This includes Dadar 2 Dadar transportation fare for private vehicle (Non-A/c), veg food expenses, and triple sharing accommodation charges, Entry fees wherever applicable and Shikhar Vedh administrative charges

Pls avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments
Some ready to eat food. Plum cakes, Biscuits etc
Good trekking shoes / Floaters
Personal basic medical kit (Containing an antiseptic, few bandages, personal medications if any, Antibiotics for stomach infection)
