We @ SHIKHAR VEDH invites you to trek to little explored DEVKUND Waterfall on Sunday 30th September 2018

Devkund is a serene lake located at the end of Plus valley. A small lake is created due to 300 ft falling waterfall is known as Devkund. It’s one of the virgin places with crystal clear water. Located near Bhira, it is a small hike of about 2 hour. As the name suggests Devkund is a place of local villager’s faith and they regard this as an origin of Kundalika River.

The itinerary for the trek is as given below:

Saturday 29th September 2018
Meeting point : Pritam Hotel, Dadar (east) at 23:00 Hrs
Pick – up en-route chembur, vashi till panvel
.
23:30 Hrs : Depart from Dadar
 
Sunday 30th September 2018
 
04:00 Hrs : @ base village
Rest in the bus
Freshen up
 
06:00 Hrs : Breakfast-Tea en-route
Introduction & Instruction
 
Start trek towards DevKund lake
 
09:00 Hrs : @ Devkund
 
1.5 hrs for exploration,
 
11:00 Hrs : Start return trek to Base
 
13:30 Hrs : @ base
 
Lunch Break, relaxation
.
15:00 Hrs : Departure to Mumbai
.
Evening refreshments @ Pali … Visit Ballaleshwar Asthvinayak Temple if time permits
 

We will reach Dadar around 21:30 Hrs (Dat’s Subjective)

.
The Contribution for the trip is Rs 1350/- per head.
This includes Transportation from Dadar to Dadar ,  Morning  breakfast-Tea , Veg Lunch & Shikhar Vedh Charges

A Water Bottle (~3 Ltrs) (a must)
Camera, Cell Phone, Binoculars (Optional)
Some ready to eat food. Plum cakes, biscuits etc.
Extra Pair of clothes,
Good trekking shoes preferably ACTION, do carry a extra pair as well
Personal basic medical kit
A haversack to put all these things
