We @ शिखर वेध has arranged an Offbeat Range Trek from Bhairavgad (Shirpunje) Ghanchhakar Gawaldev Kumsheth Kalalgad & Bhairavgad (Kothale) on 9 – 10 December 2017

Bhairavgad (Shirpunje): 1145 mtrs.This fort is believe to be ancient and almost 2500 years old. This fort has only few ruins and remains on the top. There are two big caves on the top in which one cave is a shrine of Lord Bhairavnath and another cave is used for residence purpose. There are many water tanks on the top. The idol in the cave is very good carved painted and is well maintained by the villagers.

Ghanchhakar : Ghanchakkar 1,532 metres (5,026 ft) is the third highest peak in the Maharashtra State under Sahyadri mountain ranges in western India. Its neighbouring peak Muda 1,520 metres (4,990 ft) is the fourth highest peak in the Maharashtra State under Sahyadris.

Gawaldev Peaks : 1525 meters

Kalalgad : 3300 feet

BHairavgad (Kothale) : 3465 feet

01.00 pm – Atop Ghanchhakar and Lunch ( Carried by participant )
04.30 pm – Atop Gawldev

Descend to Kumsheth

7:00 pm – @ Kumsheth

Move to Pachnai village for overnight stay

Sunday 10 December 2017

05.30 am – Wakeup call

Breakfast-T Time

7.00 am – After Breakfast start trek to Kalalgad

9.00 am – Atop Kalagad and Explore.
10.00 am – Descend

12:00 am – @ Pachnai for Lunch

Move to Kothale

1:30 pm – Ascend Bhairavgad

Explore & Descend ~ 2 hrs

5.00 pm – Start Journey back to Kasara.

8:00 pm- @ Kasara

11.00 pm – Reach Mumbai

The cost for the entire trek is about Rs. 2400 /- per head

Pls avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments
Some ready to eat food. Plum cakes, biscuits etc.
Good trekking shoes preferably Action, do carry a extra pair as well
Personal basic medical kit (Containing an antiseptic, few bandages, personal medications if any, Antibiotics for stomach infection)
