Anjarle Beach : Anjarle Village is hosting its first turtle conservation event this year. Let us support the villagers and provide support and motivation to villagers by participating in Anjarle Turtle Festival.

Unspoiled a sleepy fishing village surrounded by beach covered with coconut trees. You can spend your weekend here refreshing and taking the beautiful sights around Anjarle Village.

Anjarle is also famous for the ‘Kadyawarcha Ganpati’ temple located on a cliff. Anjarle Turtle festival is organized by Sahyadri Nisarga Mitra and Kasav Mitra Mandal. Olive Ridley Turtles eggs are protected at nest site after they are laid on the beach by Turtles. Protected eggs are later released when they hatch into baby olive ridley turtles with hope they will return one day again to lay more eggs on the beach. Watching these baby turtles take their first steps as they find their way towards the sea is an unforgettable moment.

Suvarnadurg Fort

Enjoy boat ride from Harnai Jetty towards Suvarnadurg fort located in middle of the sea if you are lucky we can spot dolphin nearby. Suvarnadurg is a fort that is located on a small island in the Arabian Sea, near Harnai in Konkan.

1) Emergence of Hatchlings of turtles is a natural process. So cannot give guarantee of emerging possibility of turtles on the mentioned dates.

2) Anjarle beach have strong currents … so won’t b allowed to go inside the water

A Torch with spare battery ( a must)
A Water Bottle (~2 Ltrs) (a must)
Towel, a napkin, Extra Pair of clothes (a must)
Camera, Cell Phone, Binoculars (Optional)
Pls avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments
Some ready to eat food. Plum cakes, Biscuits etc

Good trekking shoes preferably ACTION,
Personal basic medical kit (Containing an antiseptic, few bandages, personal medications if any, Antibiotics for stomach infection)

1) This event consists of visiting almost all sea forts of Ratnagiri & Sindhudurg districts along-with visit to 4-5 land forts nearby. To complete it in given 4 days of time all participated members have to follow mentioned timings for the day itinerary

2) The purpose of the tour is to visit the sea forts on priority basis & not the beaches. Visit to beach is possible at end of day (Only for first 2 days applicable in our case )

3) Bath facility available only at night time (Most importantly 2 b followed)

4) Our day usually will start @ 06:30 am with all morning chores 2 b finished before that)
