Brief Introduction about Vasota – Nageshwar:

Height: 4267 feet
Grade: Easy but Endurance level is little more as have to descend on same day
Time: ~ 2 hrs from MetIndavali / 4 hrs from Choravanne … Base Villages
Location: Koyna region

VASOTA-NAGESHWAR: Situated in dense forest, surrounded by river Koyna, fort of Vasota is according to ‘Dnyaneshwari’ a resting place known as Vyaghragad. This old warrior offers one of the most thrilling treks in the Sahyadri as far as trekking through forestation is concerned. Dense forest all the way through, panoramic view of Shivsagar Lake in east & Konkan on west, wonderful cave @ Nageshwar makes this fort special for amateur trekkers & photographers

Swimmers and Non Swimmers can enjoy water sports at Igatpuri Secret Camping and all ages can participate. Life Jackets are compulsory for Swimmers and non Swimmers for all water sports activities. Our campsite is well hidden inside a beautiful jungle for sure you will have trouble finding it we have kept it that way. Vaitarna Lakeside camping is a beautiful spot for landscape photography. Your tents will be lake facing as the sunsets you can enjoy tea and evening snacks. Batch 1 : 11 – 19 June 2022

Leh-Ladakh just the name enough and adventures, travellers hearts starts pumping. Its heaven for the riders and top destination for travellers.

Its with numerous trekking trails, valleys, and picturesque lakes. Renowned as the land of monks and monasteries there is lots to see in this amazing piece of land.

Leh is at an altitude of 3524 metres (11,562 ft), and connects via National Highway 1D to Srinagar in the southwest and to Manali in the south via the Leh-Manali Highway.

Nubra Valley the tri-armed valley located north east of Ladakh valley. The Shyok River meets the Nubra or Siachan River to form a large valley that separates the Ladakh and Karakoram Ranges. The Shyok river is a tributary of the Indus river. The average altitude of the valley is about 10,000 ft. i.e. 3048 metres above the sea level. The common way to access this valley is to travel over the Khardung La pass from Leh town.

Day 01: Saturday 11 June 2022 : – Arrival @ Leh Airport

Rest For the day … Acclimatization

* Overnight stay at Leh.

Day 02: Sunday 12 June 2022 : – Sightseeing in Leh

* Enjoy a scrumptious breakfast at your lodgings and then head out for a sightseeing tour around the town of Leh. There are a number of popular tourist attractions that you may visit, such as Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa and Jama Masjid.

* This day, rest is also required to acclimatize with high altitude.

Day 03: Monday 13 June 2022 : – Leh – Khardung La – Diskit – Hunder ( Nubra Valley )

* We will be heading towards Nubra Valley where on the way visiting Khardung La ( highest motorable Pass ) in the world.

* Time for enjoy, photography followed by journey towards Nubra Valley.

* On the way visit to Diskit is the place where monastries have tallest statue of buddha.

* Overnight stay at Nubra Valley in Camps.

Day 04: Tuesday 14 June 2022 : – Hunder-Sumur-Panamik-Khardungla-Leh

* Visit to Hunder Sand dunes.

* Sumur Monastries, panamik hot spring, visit to Confluence ( Sangam ) of Shyok and Nubra River, khardung la and return to leh.

* Overnight Stay at Leh.

Day 05: Wednesday 15 June 2022 : – Leh – Hemis Monastry – Pangong Tso Lake Via Changla Pass

* We will be visiting to Pangong Tso one of the most beautiful lake in the world via covering Hemis ( famous for 3 Idiots School) Thicksey monastries en-route.

* Overnight at Pangong Tso lake in Camps.

* Enjoy the camping with bone-fire, have fun and make the bonding as family with travellers.

Day 06: Thursday 16 June 2022 : – Pangong Tso Lake – Shey Palace – Leh (125km)

* Visit to Shey Palace en-route.

* Reach Leh, time for roaming in Leh and shopping, bike check.

* Overnight at Leh

About 3-4 hours of Ride depend upon breaks.

Day 7: Friday 17 June 2022 : – Leh – Tso Moriri via Chumathang (220Km)

* Heading towards Tso moriri, A lake which is surrounded by the beautiful mountains… A blue sky on the earth moment for us at Tso moriri. Spend time and enjoy the moment. Capture the memories forever.

* Overnight at Tso Moriri or Karzok village.

Day 8: Saturday 18 June 2022 :- Tso Moriri – Leh (220Km)

* This day we will start early in the morning so that we can reach Leh Airport on time to catch flight back to home town

Drop to Leh Airport by 4 pm / Extra 1 day stay recommended pm

Day 9: Sunday 19 June 2022 :- Fly 2 home town

Note : Please do keep one extra day as Buffer time since any natural calamities like snow fall, road jam can extend our journey.

Kurungwadi is a water reservoir and also a new weekend gateway near Igatpuri hill station. The soothing blue-green water of Lake and the surrounding lush green mountains range of sahyadri with giagantic view of Alang, Madan & Kulang fort makes for a great treat to the eyes. Imagine a camping trip with such beautiful surrounding, delicious food made on chulha and the opportunity to make new friends. We @ Shikhar Vedh has arranged Bhandardara Lakeside CAMPING on all weekends
.
About Bhandardara:
The campsite will be at Bhandardara which is in the interiors of Maharashtra and one of the darkest spot in our state with least amount of light pollution you will witness the darkest night sky possible. One may see the Milky Way with their naked eyes and spot numerous stars and galaxies that are never visible from the city. For all astrophotography lovers, we’ll be taking some killer star-trails and Milky Way pictures. It is gonna be a treat for your lenses. Or if you get tired, you may chill in one of the open tents and immerse yourself under the sky filled with gazillion stars.

Cost :: Rs 1850 per head ( Food – Tented stay – Barbecue – Campfire – Kasara to Kasara Pickup and Drop )

Please Note:Bhandardara Dam Camping is ~175 km drive from Mumbai, 4 hours drive & ~ 200 km drive from Pune, 5-6 hours drive
