Details r as follows

Brief Introduction about Kavnai Fort:

Height: 2500 feet
Grade: Easy
Fort Range: Igatpuri (Western Range)
Location: Igatpuri-Nasik

Kavnai: The main entrance door of the fort still stood in good condition. Entering the main door we can see cave of the right side. We can see small pond towards southern side of fort. There are many dilapidated structures of mansion by the side of this pond. A bastion at western end of the fort. A cistern is located near bastion.

 

The itinerary for the Trek is as given below:

Meeting Point : @ WEH Metro Bus Station, Andheri …. @ 05:45 Hrs 

Move to Kavnai base village by private vehicle.

10:00 Hrs: @ Base
.

Breakfast – Tea Time

.
Ascend
.
11:45 Hrs: Atop
.
Fort Exploration, Lunch, Rest etc
.
14:00 Hrs: Descend
.
15:30 Hrs: @ Base
.
16:00 Hrs: Move by private vehicle

 

We will be in mumbai around 21:00 Hrs (Subjective)

 
The cost of the Trek will be   Rs 1250/- per head 

which includes, Transportation from Mumbai to Mumbai by pvt vehicle, B/f-Tea as mentioned.

A Water Bottle (~2.5 Ltrs) ( a must)

Camera, Cell Phone, Binoculars (Optional)

Pls avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments

Some ready to eat food. Plum cakes, Biscuits etc.
Good trekking shoes preferably ACTION,
Personal basic medical kit (Containing an antiseptic, few bandages, personal medications if any, Antibiotics for stomach infection)

A haversack to put all these things
