We @ शिखर वेध has arranged our Favourite destination Trek to Sandhan Valley exploration cum rappelling event

Event Cost :: Rs 2100/- per head

Includes Transportation from Kasara 2 Asangaon, 2 meals & Refreshments + Rappeling Charges, Tented Accommodation

Brief Intro about Sandhan:-

Height:~ 4100 ft

Grade: Medium with Thrill

Time: ~ 0.5 hrs from Samrad
Location: Bhandardara region

” SANDHAN” …. is a beautiful place situated in the Western Ghats near Ratangad. Amidst the water carved valley of 50 to 500 feet deep and around two km long. Experience the heart throbbing crossing of 4 ft deep water pool in the way of rock floored water carved valley.

This will be your memorable trek.

Also you will get chance to Rappel down four small patches to reach the base of SANDHAN VALLEY.

08:00 Hrs — Enter in Sandhan Valley

We have to go through abt 4-5 feet deep water for about 25-30 meters on the way … its real fun-thrill
Pls do carry extra clothes for da same …

12:30 Hrs — Rappelling of 50 ft patch

Lunch time mid way (Packed Lunch)

& then 2 more patches of 20 feet 2 rappel ..

17:30 Hrs — Settle at base

Dinner & Campfire

Day 2 :: Sunday

10:00 Hrs — @ Dehne

Move Asangaon by public transport

11:30 Hrs — @ Asangaon station

Board 11:47 AM CSMT Fast Local or 12:56 PM CSMT Fast Local

We will be in CST around 15:00 hrs ( thats – subjective) … depends on Mega block things

Some ready to eat food. Plum cakes, biscuits etc.
Good trekking shoes preferably Action, do carry a extra pair as well
Personal basic medical kit (Containing an antiseptic, few bandages, personal medications if any, Antibiotics for stomach infection)

Height of fort: 2710 feet approx.
Nearest City Lonavala.
Tent Stay on triple sharing.
Campfire.
Night Jungle Trail Walk.
Shivardhan Fort and Manoranjan Fort Exploration.
Local Village Food.
Separate Stay for Females.

Camping Rajmachi Event Itinerary:

Day 1 – Saturday ::

We meet at 17:00 Hrs. (sharp) at Lonavala Railway station

From Mumbai you can board Express Train towards Pune between 12:00 Hrs to 14:30 Hrs & Get down @ Lonavala Station

PUNE people

Catch Pune-Lonavala local … Timings as follows

15:00 Hrs: Pune Staion

15:06 Hrs: Shivaji Nagar

15:23 hrs: Pimpri

Day 1:- Saturday

16:45 hrs: Meet @ Lonavala Railway Station near Ticket Counter.

17:00 hrs: Move towads Rajmachi Village by Jeep.

18:00 hrs: Reach Rajmachi Village,

Dinner, Camp Fire and Fun Games.

Day 2:- Sunday

07:00 hrs: Wake Up.

07:30 hrs: Breakfast.

08:00 hrs: Manoranjan fort and Shrivardhan fort exploration.

11:00 hrs: Leave for Lonavala Railway Station by Jeep.

12:30 hrs: @ Lonawala Station

Camping Ends with Happy Memories.

The cost of this event would be Rs 1450/- per head (Lonawala to Lonawala)
