Transportation : To & Fro Kasara – Campsite by pvt Jeep

1 Veg meals,

Fireflies: Fireflies or lightning bugs make light within their bodies. This process is called bioluminescence and is shared by many other organisms, mostly sea-living or marine organisms. Fireflies light up to attract a mate. To do this, the firefliescontain specialized cells in their abdomen that make light.
.
Samrad village is the home to the famous Sandhan Valley Trek during the Winters, to a Reverse Waterfall during Monsoons and to FIREFLIES during Summers.This May, witness a million fireflies emitting their lights and camping with you.

The itinerary for the Event is as given below:

Day 1: Saturday

14:00 Hrs: @ Kasara railway station

Move Samrad Village by private Transport

17:00 Hrs: @ Samrad

Freshen up,  Have Evening Tea , Set up the tents

Enjoy Fireflies in the Jungle

21:00 Hrs: Dinner Time

Post Dinner – Night Walk for Fireflies
Tented Stay /  @ Villagers House in case of rain

Day 2: Sunday

Breakfast  – Tea in village .
Explore Sandhan valley till valley view point … time permits & if interested

09:30 Hrs – Move to Kasara station by pvt transport

12:30 Hrs – @ Kasara station

We would be getting back to Dadar / Pune at approx 17.30 PM (That’s Subjective)

Brief Intro about Sandhan:-

Height:~ 4100 ft
Grade: Medium with Thrill
Time: ~ 0.5 hrs from Samrad
Location: Bhandardara region

” SANDHAN” …. is a beautiful place situated in the Western Ghats  near Ratangad. Amidst the water carved valley of 50 to 500 feet deep and around two km long. Experience the heart throbbing crossing of 4 ft deep water pool in the way of  rock floored water carved valley. 
This will be your memorable trek.

Also you will get chance to Rappel down four small patches to reach the base of SANDHAN VALLEY.

DAY 0 :: Friday

Rendezvous : Dadar for Mumbai people & Swargate for Pune people

23:00 Hrs : Departure by private vehicle Non a/c

We have to go through abt 4-5 feet deep water for about 25-30 meters on the way … its real fun-thrill
Pls do carry extra clothes for da same …

12:30 Hrs — Rappelling of 50 ft patch
Lunch time mid way (Packed Lunch)
& then 2 more patches of 20 feet 2 rappel ..
