Fireflies: Fireflies or lightning bugs make light within their bodies. This process is called bioluminescence and is shared by many other organisms, mostly sea-living or marine organisms. Fireflies light up to attract a mate. To do this, the fireflies contain specialized cells in their abdomen that make light.

Prabalgadmachi, is a small hamlet hiding in the hills is located in the Panvel region. The machi lies on the massive plateau that greets one on getting to the twin forts of Kalavantin  & Prabalgad which grace the backdrop of the village.

07:00 Hrs: @ Wake up call

Breakfast  – Tea in village.

08:30 Hrs – Descend

10:00 Hrs – Base

Move to Panvel station by public transport

11:00 Hrs – @ Panvel station

We would be getting back to Mumbai at approx 12.00 PM (That’s Subjective)

Good trekking shoes preferably ACTION,
Personal basic medical kit (Containing an antiseptic, few bandages,
personal medications if any, Antibiotics for stomach infection)

A haversack to put all these things
