Day 1: Sunday:- Guwahati – Shillong Drive

Meet the team @ Guwahati Airport by 12:30 Hrs

Drive to Shillong – capital of Meghalaya

En-route visit Umiam Lake or Barapani – picturesque destination

Evening arrival @ Hotel in Sohra & Relax

Day 2: Monday:- Sohra – Tyrna – Nongriat

The journey to Nongriat village to see the Double decker living root bridge is an unmissable Meghalaya experience.

A trek to remember (Abt 3600 steps i.e 2 hours each way)

Post Lunch Ascend upward trek to Tyrna (~ 2 hr trek).

Reach Sohra by 5 pm

Day 3: Tuesday:- Cherrapunjee – Mawlynnong

Post Breakfast – Tea … Cherrapunjee sightseeing

The Nohkalikai Falls, seven sister falls, Arwah Caves and Mawsmai Caves, Ramkrishna Mission, Wai Song Dong Falls

Move to visit ‘Asia’s cleanest village’ Mawlynnong

Overnight @ Mawlynnong

Day 4: Wednesday:- Mawlynnong – Dawki – Shnongpodeng – Shillong

Post B/f move to  Indo-Bangladesh border town of Dawki … A town famous for its magnificently clear river waters

Next move to Shnongpodeng … Engage for adventure activities like Kayaking, Cliff Jumping, Snorkeling etc

Visit Krang Suri Waterfalls

Drive to Shillong for overnight stay

Day 5: Thursday: Shillong Exploration

Full Day Shillong sightseeing

Day 6: Friday:- Shillong – Mawphlang – Mawsynram – Shillong 

A quick journey from Shillong, this 1000 year old sacred grove has stood the test of time thanks to being worshipped by the chiefs and inhabitants of its village, whose traditions have made cutting down trees akin to a grave sin.

Next is Mawsynram, the wettest place on earth.
